FutureFeed Pty Ltd was founded by CSIRO with investment support from Woolworths Group, GrainCorp, Harvest Road, and AGP Sustainable Real Assets / Sparklabs Cultiv8. We hold the global IP rights to breakthrough methane reducing feed ingredient technology developed by CSIRO, Meat & Livestock Australia, and James Cook University.At FutureFeed, we’re commercialising a natural livestock feed ingredient made from a specific type of seaweed—Asparagopsis—that has been scientifically shown to reduce methane emissions from cattle by 80% or more. An industry is being built and scaled around this solution that is designed to be climate-positive, productivity-neutral or enhancing, and economically beneficial for farmers.
