Job Summary

Lead cross‑channel marketing for BFI National Lottery funded projects and the Screen Culture strategy, shaping campaigns for the BFI Film Academy UK-wide programme while building strong collaborations with NLPU and stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver cross-channel marketing plans for BFI National Lottery funded projects, with attention to key events and activities occurring throughout the year
  • Devise marketing strategies and plans to support the BFI’s Screen Culture strategy.
  • Devise and deliver marketing plans (including campaigns, events and outreach) to support the BFI Film Academy UK-wide programme and activity.
  • Establish a good, collaborative working relationship with Allwyn NLPU (National Lottery Promotions Unit) and when required, government departments.
  • Work with UK filmmakers, and industry stakeholders to promote and support BFI NL Filmmaking Fund funded films and projects across festivals, awards and releases.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in film or similar media marketing role within an agency or in-house marketing and communications environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge & understanding of the film industry and key stakeholders including skills and training organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to persuade and articulate opinions effectively to internal clients and external partners/stakeholders.
  • Able to generate and execute fresh ideas with a willingness to embrace change.
