Job Summary

Own the employer-engagement engine for a college by turning marketing leads into active employer partnerships, shaping apprenticeship and workforce programs, and co-designing curricula with input from industry partners.

  • Employer Partnerships: Build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with local employers to address skills gaps and pipeline talent.
  • Curriculum & Insights: Gather employer feedback to inform curriculum planning and ensure programs meet labour-market demand.
  • Experiential Opportunities: Deliver work experience, guest lectures, and employer-led projects to boost student outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Employer Partnership Executive plays a critical role in driving North Hertfordshire College’s employer engagement strategy.
  • This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships employers to support the college’s mission of delivering industry-relevant education and training.
  • The role focuses on converting leads generated through marketing channels into active partnerships, ensuring employers are fully engaged in apprenticeship programmes, workforce development initiatives, and curriculum co-design.
  • By acting as a trusted advisor to employers, the postholder will help businesses address skills gaps, develop talent pipelines, and access high-quality training solutions tailored to their needs.
  • In addition to lead conversion, the Employer Partnership Executive will gather and share employer insights to inform curriculum planning, ensuring that NHC’s provision remains responsive to labour market demands.
  • The role also supports the delivery of work experience opportunities, guest lectures, and employer-led projects that enrich the student experience and improve progression outcomes.
  • Ultimately, this position contributes to NHC’s strategic goal of being the partner of choice for employers in Hertfordshire, strengthening the college’s reputation as a leader in skills development and regional economic growth.
