Responsibilities

Youre lead the Social & Creator Partnerships function and manage a team of Social Media & Community Managers, working alongside creative and digital colleagues who are already producing a significant volume of original content.
Your job isnt to make all of it yourself. Its to get everything we can from what exists, spot the opportunities nobody else has noticed, and build the team and ways of working that make good social happen week in, week out.
Youll help us work out what comes next.
How should the V&A use TikTok? How do Instagram and YouTube evolve from here? Which creators could introduce us to audiences whod otherwise never come across us?
And underneath all of that, the question were most interested in: how do we stay unmistakably the V&A while behaving quite differently in different places, so that somebody discovering an extraordinary object on their phone ends up in a longer relationship with the museum?
If youve spent your career making brands interesting on social, there arent many with 5,000 years of material to work from.

Requirements

You don’t need to have worked in a museum.

Preferred

curious and culturally engaged, organised and collaborative, who ask questions and spot things, and who can make good decisions without turning each one into a drama. Being enjoyable to work with counts for a lot here.
