Job Summary

Own cross-functional planning and execution of prioritized marketing initiatives, driving rhythm, risk mitigation, and rapid progress across product marketing, engineering, finance, and field.

Lead RoB cadence and follow-through to keep initiatives moving with executive-ready updates.
Build internal and external narratives and ensure messaging aligns with frameworks while translating direction into concrete outputs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted partner to marketing leadership, supporting planning, prioritization, and execution across key initiatives.
Drive Rhythm of Business (RoB), including leadership team meetings, agendas, follow-ups, and action tracking.
Partner across Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Field to ensure alignment and forward momentum.
Step in to advance work independently (e.g., synthesize rough inputs, create first drafts, unblock teams, and drive next steps).
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively bring solutions.
Lead and execute internal communications strategy:
Drive awareness and adoption of key initiatives (e.g., Azure Accelerate for Databases).
Create and manage internal narratives across channels (emails, updates, leadership comms, field alerts).
Support external-facing communications:
Draft social posts, blogs, and executive-ready messaging.

Requirements

5-8+ years experience in business management, marketing operations, communications, or consulting
Proven ability to operate as a peer to senior stakeholders and influence without authority
Strong written and verbal communication skills (executive-ready)
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment
High ownership mindset with ability to drive ambiguous work to completion

Nice to have

Experience in enterprise technology or cloud marketing
Background in executive communications or storytelling
Familiarity with marketing rhythms (RoB, field alignment, launch planning)
