Job Summary

Own the marketing operations and data backbone for a global NA team, aligning data, automation, governance, and tools with marketing strategy to boost efficiency and reporting clarity.

Operations and data governance: streamline data operations, automation, and platform use to raise marketing efficiency.
Roadmaps and collaboration: define annual roadmaps, lead special data/efficiency projects, and partner with technology and leadership.
Tooling and enablement: optimize marketing tools, stay ahead on trends, and drive training and internal comms to embed new processes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior leadership and key business partners to streamline data operations and align marketing efficiency goals with overall business strategy.
Provide leadership and operational support to the global presentation production teams, North America marketing partners, and direct reports, which include the following functions: Data operations, Marketing governance, and marketing process automation.
Manage and optimize cross-functional teams, foster creativity, and drive innovative marketing operation strategies to elevate efficiency across the NA marketing department.
Lead strategic collaboration with marketing, data, and technology to streamline and ensure data integrity, improve automation processes, and elevate data operations.
Measure impact and provide regular executive level reporting on projects.
Initiate and define annual roadmaps and oversee participation in special projects related to data operations and marketing efficiency.
Collaborate with technology to optimize marketing tools and platforms. Stay apprised of industry trends and emerging technologies to implement innovative marketing solutions; evaluate new and existing technology to increase and improve user experience.
Oversee internal communications and training strategies to enhance employee engagement with new and existing marketing processes.
Articulate the future state of how the marketing team can function, including best practices of how to work (operations), how to best take advantage of technology capabilities (platform and data), and how marketing capabilities evolve in-line with marketing strategy.
Enhance platforms to support efficient and scalable processes for reporting and analytics, data automation, and marketing operations.
Operate with an ownership mindset, proactively identify problems, and engage the right people to understand and creatively solve them.
Foster a collaborative, forward-thinking, and results-driven culture within the marketing department and beyond.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities.
Attend relevant industry conferences, corporate sessions, internal meetings and 1:1s.
