Job Summary

Own the admissions and referral-marketing engine for a facility, aligning marketing plans, referral partnerships, and the admission process to drive census and smooth transitions.

  • Facility census growth: develop and adjust marketing plans to meet budgeted census goals.
  • End-to-end admissions ownership: coordinate admission flow from referral through family support, ensuring a smooth patient transition.
  • Referral network and liaison: act as primary link among facility, Care Transition Coordinator, referral sources, and discharge planners to optimize conversions.

Responsibilities\n

  • Generating and maintaining a positive facility census based on facility budgetary goals.
    • \n
  • Create and implement an effective and measurable marketing plan that involves key facility management personnel.
    • \n
  • Act as liaison between the facility, Care Transition Coordinator and the referral community.
    • \n
  • Monitor daily census results and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
    • \n
  • Manage the referral approval process according to the Company Commit to Care guidelines and protocols.
    • \n
  • Coordinate the entire admission process and assist the family with administrative questions.

\nRequirements\n
    \n
  • 2 year degree in marketing, healthcare or related field is required
    • \n
  • 4-year degree is preferred
    • \n
  • 2 years of successful admission process experience preferred
    • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate the needs of discharge planners, case managers, physicians and other referral contacts, family members, responsible parties, and facility staff
    • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to speak and present to the public
    • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently toward goals
    • \n
  • Ability to travel within a sixty (60) mile radius of facility
    • \n
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • \n

  • 2 years of successful admission process experience preferred
    • \n
  • 4-year degree is preferred
    • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to speak and present to the public
