Job Summary
Own the end-to-end video creation engine—from concept through delivery—driving campaign-aligned, platform-native content with elite editing and motion graphics. Build scalable pipelines, lead shoots, and mentor teams to ensure fast, polished output that moves brand goals.
- Video production: manage concepting, pre-production, shooting, and on-set leadership to deliver campaign assets.
- Editing and motion: apply elite editing and After Effects to create modern, narrative-driven content across social formats.
- Collaboration and delivery: align with Creative/Strategy/Social/Design and oversee asset organization for multi-platform delivery.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead all video production for campaigns, brand storytelling, social-first content, commercial assets, and creative development.
- Oversee concepting, storyboarding, shot lists, and production planning for shoots of all scales.
- Edit at an elite level, fast, precise, emotionally intelligent, with a deep command of pacing, transitions, and narrative structure.
- Build and manage video pipelines from pre-production through delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, Social, and Design teams to align visuals with campaign goals.
- Execute and supervise motion graphics work using Adobe After Effects, ensuring clean, modern, polished motion language.
- Direct on-set teams when needed, talent, camera ops, DP, audio, art direction, etc.
- Maintain exceptionally high creative standards while operating under tight timelines.
- Provide technical oversight for cameras, lighting, audio, and post-production workflow.
- Manage video asset organization, versioning, and delivery across all platforms.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of professional experience in video editing, production, and post within agency, brand, or studio environments.
- Expert-level editing skills (Premiere Pro / DaVinci / Final Cut, Premiere preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, kinetic typography, light VFX).
- Proven ability to build shot lists, storyboards, and production plans.
- Demonstrated experience leading campaign-level projects from concept to final delivery.
- Highly nimble, comfortable working fast, and able to pivot quickly as creative evolves.
- Deep understanding of social-forward video formats: TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, broadcast.
- Strong creative intuition combined with operational discipline and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Must be local to Burbank, CA or willing to work on-site daily.
- Portfolio/reel showcasing campaign work, storytelling, editing range, and motion capabilities.
Preferred
- Experience directing talent or creators.
- Familiarity with color grading workflows.
- Knowledge of camera systems (Sony, RED, Blackmagic).
- Ability to mentor junior editors or contractors.
- Understanding of audio design and mixing.
