Own end-to-end social-first production from shoots to finished edits, overseeing multiple projects and guiding on-set setup, post production, and client-facing presentations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Shoot and edit social-first content: run shoots start to finish. Camera, lighting, and audio; then take the footage through editing, color, and audio mixing to a finished, platform-ready piece.
Add motion and polish: captions, text treatments, and social-first animated overlays that make content perform. Basic motion design skills are a plus.
Manage the work: work on multiple projects at once and help keep shoots and edits on track.
Grow into bigger sets: take on occasional larger productions with a full crew, and, over time, start directing your own shoots.
Present your work: walk clients and internal teams through edits and ideas clearly and confidently.

Requirements

Social-first experience: you've shot and edited content built for social platforms, and understand what makes it perform, not just what makes it pretty.
Real-time turnarounds: you’re comfortable flipping turnkey content around in just a few hours. Getting pressing edits live ASAP for moments when a timely launch is the key to success.
Full post-production pipeline: color, audio, editing; you can take a project from raw footage to final export on your own.
On-set fundamentals: you know how a set runs and are comfortable with lighting and audio gear.
Adobe Creative Cloud: primarily Premiere Pro. After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus.
A portfolio: work that shows your range across shooting and editing.
Flexibility: able to travel up to 40% of the time for shoots and comfortable managing several projects in parallel. Comfortable shifting working hours to accommodate client needs when necessary.

Preferred

Experience with Sony's cinema line (FX3, FX6) or similar cinema cameras, and time on larger sets with a full crew
A point of view on social trends. You follow them, understand them, maybe even set a few
