Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic communication plans and campaign messaging across channels (email, app, SMS, and web) that connect people to Life.Church's mission and move them toward next steps.
- Write clear, compelling, on-brand copy across a high volume of channels and campaigns.
- Steward the Life.Church voice with consistency and care, ensuring every touchpoint reflects who we are.
- Use data, past learnings, and audience insights to shape how and when we communicate with different segments of our audience.
- Collaborate with campus and ministry teams to resource and elevate their communication—not just execute for them, but build their capacity.
- Partner with team leaders to refine messaging, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve how we reach people.
- Lead, support, and resource campus and ministry teams in developing clear communication and messaging that aligns with channel strategy, including weekend promotional assets.
- Develop and maintain systems and standards that empower other teams and ministries to own their communication well while maintaining excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years in communications, content strategy, marketing, or copywriting.
- Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating range, voice, and strategic thinking required.
