Job Description

Responsibilities

Interns will participate in leadership and communication training, assist with social media content and publications, support planning and implementation of a community service project, and contribute to youth-focused educational materials.
They will work both independently and in teams, maintain professionalism and respect at all times, complete assignments on schedule, and represent themselves.
Applicants must complete an interview and be selected based on professionalism, communication skills, and demonstrated interest in leadership development.

Requirements

In person
Youth age 14 to 24 years old
Must be able to participate safely in program activities with or without reasonable accommodation (sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds)
Must be prepared to engage professionally in each setting, follow site-specific guidelines, and maintain safe and respectful behavior at all times
Must provide transportation to all orientation, training, worksite, and cohort times

Preferred

Ideal candidates are goal-oriented; interested in community service, public speaking, marketing, or youth programming; willing to try new things; and able to follow a business-casual dress code.
