Responsibilities

• This role will actively work to bridge the gap between commercial industry and government customers, bringing cutting-edge technologies and services to the forefront of national security and civil space organizations.
• You will help to ensure we are more efficient in how we employ and accelerate commercial technology into vital space missions.
• You'll also help shape how Aerospace shows up to the ecosystem through events and external messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration or related field
• 10+ years in business development, partnerships, ecosystem building, or venture/startup engagement
• A working network in the space, venture, or government community
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain the same idea to a founder, an investor, and a program officer
• Comfort with ambiguity and defining requirements
• Available to travel domestically as necessary
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employer sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future

Preferred

• Experience with accelerators, incubators, or technology transition programs
• Event content or messaging experience
