Own NYP’s digital content strategy and editorial governance, aligning site content with brand voice and SEO/AI readiness.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with marketing, digital, clinical, and agency teams to plan and deliver high-quality content.
- Delivery and SEO/AI Readiness: Oversee content operations, deadlines, and optimization for search and AI discovery.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Senior Editor, Digital Marketing leads content strategy, editorial oversight, and content operations for NYP’s consumer-facing digital platforms with a focus on NYP websites.
- Serve as a senior content leader and project manager, guiding planning, development, execution, and governance of website and digital content for accuracy, engagement, brand alignment, and SEO/AI readiness.
- Lead the development and enforcement of the website editorial vision, content standards, and information architecture while collaborating across marketing, digital, clinical, and agency teams.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and project management to oversee multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-8 years of experience in digital content, editorial, or content strategy roles
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and lead through influence
- Experience managing freelance writers or content contributors
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or similar
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail and brand consistency
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience applying SEO best practices and optimizing content for search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms
