Job Summary
Own the media relations and PR operations that drive ReelShort’s entertainment storytelling, coordinating strategy, databases, outreach, and events to secure timely coverage and align with growth priorities.
- Media Strategy & Outreach: Surface earned-media opportunities aligned with growth priorities.
- Media Database Management: Build and maintain databases across entertainment, business, lifestyle, and trade press for targeted announcements and campaigns.
- Outreach Execution: Drive follow-up and placement to secure coverage on launches, talent moments, and partnerships.
Job Description
Own the media relations and PR operations that drive ReelShort’s entertainment storytelling, coordinating strategy, databases, outreach, and events to secure timely coverage and align with growth priorities.
- Media Strategy & Outreach: Surface earned-media opportunities aligned with growth priorities.
- Media Database Management: Build and maintain databases across entertainment, business, lifestyle, and trade press for targeted announcements and campaigns.
- Outreach Execution: Drive follow-up and placement to secure coverage on launches, talent moments, and partnerships.
- Communications Operations: Manage editorial calendars, embargo timelines, coverage trackers, and clipping reports to measure impact.
- Documentation & Systems: Maintain templates, asset libraries, status trackers, and reporting workflows to scale PR.
- Materials Support: Prepare briefing materials, media kits, talking points, and post-campaign recaps.
- Events, Talent & Influencer Ecosystem: Coordinate event presence and activations, including logistics and on-site execution.
- Talent & Creator Coordination: Support influencer coordination and expand the creator ecosystem with internal stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Partner with social media to align earned, owned, and influencer moments around campaigns.
