Job Summary
Own and lead external engagement for a Pike County community and project stakeholders, coordinating public meetings, outreach activities, and communications with residents, officials, businesses, and organizations to advance project goals.

Requirements
- Experience in community engagement, community or economic development, public affairs, local government, stakeholder relations, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, public administration, community development, business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with residents, public officials, businesses, and community organizations.
- Strong listening, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations respectfully and follow through on concerns.
- Strong writing and public speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex project information in clear, accessible language.
- Experience organizing public meetings, outreach activities, or community programs.
- Ability to work with technical personnel to develop accurate public information and recognize when specialist input is needed.
- Strong organization and recordkeeping skills, including tracking stakeholder interactions, open issues, and commitments.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive information, public concerns, and company commitments.
- Ability to coordinate across project teams and maintain consistent communications.
Preferred
- Established knowledge of Pike County and surrounding southern Ohio communities, institutions, and local priorities.
- Experience supporting natural gas generation, utility, industrial, or other major infrastructure projects through development and construction.
- Experience with gas generation facilities co-located with large data center campuses, including coordination of community engagement across related projects.
- Experience addressing community questions about construction impacts, noise, air quality, water use, traffic, and infrastructure development.
- Familiarity with public participation in project permitting and local government processes.
- Experience supporting local workforce development, business participation, or community investment programs.
