Job Summary

You will own end-to-end account coordination for MCS client programs, manage project trackers and timelines, and drive media relations campaigns from strategy through execution.

Contribute to new business through research and creative brainstorming

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop skills in project management to support MCS client programs
Provide a high level of organization, attention to detail and timeline management (e.g., create and update project trackers and timelines)
Contribute to seamless operations of projects by providing prompt follow-through and frequent, clear and candid communication with teammates, clients and vendors
Be alert to potential problems and identify feasible solutions; present recommendations to senior team member in a timely fashion
Direct junior teammates/interns and vendors in the implementation of key tasks, as assigned by ASs and SAEs; delegate position-appropriate tasks
Demonstrate initiative in anticipating next steps in implementing day-to-day account work
Support the development of monthly invoicing which includes detailed invoice wording and/or activity reports; maintain accurate records of project expenses
Learning and managing the client review/approval system, such as Veeva, for all materials
Conduct and assist in the management of traditional and social media relations campaigns to achieve results for clients
Contribute to the development of media strategy, including setting objectives, and developing key messages

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, journalism, or related field
2-3 years of experience in the field of public relations, healthcare-specific experience a plus
Proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.
Knowledge of how to use all major social media platforms and an active interest in learning how to implement social media marketing programs
Meticulous writing and editing skills with attention to organization, word usage, sentence structure, grammar and punctuation, and conscientious incorporation of copy edits
