Job Summary

Drive city marketing and design initiatives across departments with a strategy-focused role in the City Manager’s Office.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the strategic marketing plan that supports the mission and goals of the City of Cincinnati.
  • We are seeking a creative, enterprising, collaborator to develop marketing strategies that support city initiatives, programs and services.
  • Engage marketing strategies across multiple platforms and produce graphic and visual design aspects.
  • This individual must align and collaborate with key partners to ensure cohesive communication and marketing strategy implementation.
  • The Marketing and Design Lead will be part of the City Manager’s Office and report to the Director of Communications.
  • Examples of Work Performed: Design and implement marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate across departments to develop marketing strategies
  • Work on various design projects as assigned.
  • Produce preliminary designs and sketches under the direction of a supervisor; review with design team and client; modify designs as appropriate; create mock-ups; refine and finalize designs.
  • Produce electronic art for reproduction purposes, using a PC computer, or manual methods; obtain necessary content. photos, text. data, and imagery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of professional marketing and design experience, including experience managing digital marketing platforms and content management systems.
  • Submission of a professional portfolio is required with the application.
  • RESUME MUST BE ATTACHED
