Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in photographing and promoting all Community Education classes, programs, and events.
- Organize and maintain a library of high-quality photo and video assets.
- Create engaging content, including storytelling pieces, event highlights, and promotional materials.
- Support social media efforts by creating posts, capturing real-time content, and engaging with the community.
- Assist with day-of event marketing for Tour de Tonka and the Minnewashta Mud Run.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Orientation, training, and mentoring are provided.
Preferred
- Currently pursuing or completed a B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred).
- Preferred experience in photography, video production, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and social media content creation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Minnetonka Public Schools
The Minnetonka Public School District is a high performing school district proudly serving families in all or part of 10 communities: Minnetonka, Chanhassen, Deephaven, Eden Prairie, Excelsior, Greenwood, Shorewood, Tonka Bay, Victoria and Woodland.
