Job Description

Responsibilities

Host tastings and product demos for beer, wine and spirits brands at retail stores, bars and private events
Greet shoppers and guests, share what makes each product special, and help turn samples into sales
Represent premium brands at in-store and private tastings, nightlife activations and promotional events
Research the brands you sign up to promote before each event, using our optional training materials
Clock in and out of each event by geolocation in our app, and keep us posted on anything that comes up on site

Requirements

Must be 21 or older
A current alcohol seller-server certification, such as TIPS or your state's required course, or willingness to get one before your first event
Reliable transportation to events within about 30 minutes of where you live
A smartphone and the ability to use Google Sheets, Bill and Paychex, which you need to complete events
Availability when events run in your area (see above)
Punctual: you arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start (that's on time for us) and stay through the end of your shift
Communicative: you let us know right away about any obstacle or issue at an event
Prepared: as an independent contractor, you know the brands you represent before you arrive
Engaging: you're attentive, inviting and enthusiastic, and you stay off your phone and at your assigned spot for the whole event
