Responsibilities

Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown for community outreach initiatives
Engage directly with attendees and share information about nonprofit programs and community initiatives
Support event logistics, materials, schedules, and attendee engagement activities
Represent nonprofit partners professionally while helping strengthen overall brand awareness
Assist with promotional activities designed to increase brand visibility and event participation
Support outreach efforts that help expand each nonprofit partner's brand presence throughout the Birmingham market
Collaborate with fellow Event Assistant team members to ensure events align with brand standards and campaign goals
Track attendee engagement and event activity to support future brand development efforts

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Interest in events, communications, marketing, public relations, or brand awareness
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable interacting with attendees in face-to-face environments
Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, retail, outreach, or promotional roles is helpful but not required
