Job Description
Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Management
- Manage all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Maintain a detailed content calendar and ensure consistent posting schedules.
- Create engaging content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and consideration.
- Responsible for maintaining a content library of photography, video, and user-generated content.
- Content Creation
- Capture on-property photography and videography showcasing guestrooms, dining, events, activations, team members, and guest experiences.
- Produce short-form video content, including Instagram Reels, and Stories.
- Write compelling captions and copy reflecting the Wayfinder Newport brand voice.
- Coordinate content production for seasonal campaigns, special events, promotions, and partnerships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of social media management, content creation, or digital marketing experience.
- Exceptional photography and videography skills.
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, HeyOrca, or similar creative tools.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and current social media trends.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events when needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Hospitality, tourism, restaurant, lifestyle, or destination marketing experience.
- Experience working with influencers and brand partnerships.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and reporting tools.
