Job Summary

Drive social engagement and comment moderation across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn for a mission-aligned, part-time remote role.

  • Own DMs, comments, and group interactions per moderation guidelines.
  • Must-have: Native Spanish and professional English, Utah/Idaho residency, and basic social media management.
  • Standout: Temple-recommendation required and CES student, enabling mission-aligned work with community impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Connect with individuals through DMs, comments, and groups across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Follow moderation guidelines to manage comments across our pages.
  • Track engagement trends to inform marketing strategy (e.g., common questions, most engaged audience segments, number of comments responded to each week, etc.).
  • Assist with ad hoc social media projects and post creation as needed.
  • Explore opportunities to proactively engage with relevant content and communities via social media.

Requirements

  • Currently reside in Utah or Idaho. All work for this role must be completed in Utah or Idaho.
  • Currently attend a CES school as a degree seeking undergraduate student (BYU, BYU-Idaho, Ensign College, BYU-Pathway Worldwide).
  • Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with a current temple recommend.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Native-Level Spanish proficiency and professional fluency in English.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to engage professionally and empathetically online.
  • Basic understanding of social media management and brand representation.

Nice To Have

  • Experience managing or moderating a brand, mission, or student group’s social media accounts (preferred)
  • Experience using social media analytics tools (preferred)
  • Ability to speak Portuguese and French is helpful
