Job Description

Responsibilities

planning and creating content for several platforms such as Instagram (including Stories and Reels), Threads , Facebook and LinkedIn .
Additional responsibilities will include contributing to various marketing and social campaigns , staying on top of trends , and keeping abreast of student life events that help tell the University’s story.
Student workers will serve as ambassadors of the University of Virginia as a recurring, visible presence on the institution’s social media channels.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable using social platforms on behalf of a brand or institution and will have some interest or exposure in content creation , video , photography , copy writing and design .
