Job Description

Responsibilities

Support Club Performance initiatives through in-depth analysis, project management, and stakeholder-ready deliverables.
Support League Growth workstreams, including club transactions, strategic investments, expansion, ownership transitions, and market analysis.
Develop high-quality presentations, memos, and dashboards for senior League and Club stakeholders.
Support Club advisory work across ticketing, sponsorship, marketing, fan growth, business intelligence, operations, and commercial performance.
Support Club engagement, including meeting preparation, follow-up tracking, and action plans.
Conduct research, document best practices, maintain benchmarking and League minimum standards, and identify opportunities and strategic recommendations to Clubs.
Coordinate cross-functional work with League Office departments and Clubs to advance strategic initiatives and drive implementation.
Identify AI and emerging technology use cases to improve analysis, productivity, decision-making, knowledge sharing, and Club support.
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and innovation across sports, entertainment, media, technology, and adjacent industries.
Lead select Club Performance programs, including the annual MLS Executive and Team Awards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
7+ years of relevant experience in sports, consulting, investment banking, finance, corporate strategy, business development, business operations, media, entertainment, technology, or another analytical and strategic environment.
Experience supporting strategic initiatives, business planning, market analysis, commercial analysis, or cross-functional project execution.
Experience developing polished presentations, memos, briefings, and analysis for senior leaders or external stakeholders.
Experience using data, research, and market insights to develop recommendations and support decision-making.

Preferred

Fluency or proficiency in Spanish and/or French preferred.
