Job Summary

Drive enterprise SEO strategy and execution for client domains, owning technical SEO, content optimization, and performance measurement in a cross-functional, fully remote environment.

  • Own end-to-end enterprise SEO campaigns, including technical optimization, migrations, and local SEO initiatives.
  • Must-have: 7+ years of hands-on enterprise SEO experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.
  • Standout: Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Analytics, Web Ops, IT) to align taxonomy and data standards across CMS platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prioritize SEO recommendations for designated client domains and subdomains, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT teams (both client and vendor) to integrate SEO requirements into web development processes, supporting early-stage SEO considerations.
  • Monitor Google Webmaster Tools and other SEO platforms to identify and troubleshoot issues impacting organic search performance.
  • Create and maintain performance dashboards, analytics metrics, and KPIs; deliver routine reports, including monthly recaps and project analyses.
  • Work with third-party consultants and leverage analytics tools to measure performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize search rankings.
  • Set strategic goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them, adjusting tactics based on algorithm updates and industry best practices.
  • Support backlinking initiatives and other strategic programs to enhance domain authority and search visibility.
  • Produce detailed functional requirements documents for onsite search enhancements, ensuring seamless implementation and testing.
  • Coordinate with various teams such as Digital Analytics, Creative Media, Web Operations, and IT to establish and follow taxonomy, data standards, and best practices for search optimization.
  • Conduct technical audits, site performance evaluations, and SEO problem-solving activities to improve discovery and ranking results.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-level SEO campaigns, demonstrating success in complex environments. A strong background in technical SEO, content optimization, and data analysis is essential. Candidates should possess expertise in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and others. A solid understanding of website migrations, large-scale redesigns, and local SEO strategies is required. Experience working with CMS platforms like Sitecore and WordPress, along with proficiency in HTML/CSS, is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is required, with additional certifications in SEO being a plus. Candidates should also have experience in digital analytics, keyword research, link acquisition, and strategic outreach efforts.
