Job Description

Responsibilities

Develops and implements strategic marketing and communication initiatives that support enrollment growth, student engagement, and institutional awareness for OSU Online, Outreach, and Individual Study within the Institute for Teaching and Learning Excellence (ITLE).
Leads multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
Develops and optimizes prospective student communication strategies
Manages social media and website content
Utilizes marketing analytics to evaluate and improve campaign performance
Collaborates with academic programs, university partners, and departmental leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compelling communications that promote undergraduate and graduate online degrees, certificates, courses, and outreach initiatives
Engages in market research, budget and vendor coordination, CRM communication management
Supervises student marketing staff
Supports departmental event registration and web content
Promotes undergraduate and graduate online degrees, certificates, online courses, and ITLE events throughout the OSU community, the state, the region, and the country

Requirements

Bachelor's (Communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field) (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Six months of related work experience
Oklahoma driver’s license or ability to obtain an Oklahoma driver’s license within 30 days of hire
Reliable transportation for travel connected with official duties
Duty reporting is in-person on the OSU campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma
Demonstrated experience in communications, including social media, video, web content, writing, editing, and content creation
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize materials; write and edit effectively; visualize concepts; communicate and interpret goals
Proficiency in AP style and adaptive writing; social media experience; knowledge of communications principles; ability to align content with audience needs
Must learn quickly, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
