Job Summary
Drive and own creator-focused social content for a Charleston-area home services business by launching and growing a TikTok from scratch.
- Must-have: Demonstrated CapCut editing with a portfolio
- Standout: Ability to build and own a brand-new TikTok account from zero and drive engagement
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Edit raw job-site footage into 3–5 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
- Write captions, schedule posts, and engage with comments across platforms
- Launch and build a new TikTok account from the ground up
- Support our Google Local Services Ads: monitor incoming leads, request reviews from completed customers, and report on weekly performance
- Create supporting graphics in Canva as needed
- Occasionally visit active job sites in the Charleston area to capture additional footage
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience editing short-form video in CapCut (portfolio required)
- Active, knowledgeable user of TikTok and Instagram, with an understanding of current short-form trends
- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for content drafting and ideation
- Strong written communication for captions and short-form copy
- Basic Canva skills
- Self-directed work style with minimal supervision required
- Reliable laptop, internet, and transportation
- Local to the Charleston area, with availability to meet at our Mount Pleasant office once per week
