Job Description
Responsibilities
- This is a part-time remote role for a Digital Advertising Specialist. The specialist will plan, execute, and optimize web and social media advertising campaigns.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include managing ad placements across digital channels, monitoring performance metrics, and adjusting campaigns based on data insights.
- The role involves collaborating with editorial and sales teams to align advertising with content calendars, product launches, and industry events.
- The specialist will also prepare performance reports and recommend new digital advertising opportunities to expand audience reach and revenue.
- This position will also offer ad sales support in terms of researching prospective advertisers, locating advertising contacts, and pitching digital campaigns.
Requirements
- Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and clearly present advertising strategies and results.
- Marketing skills, including digital campaign planning and audience targeting, to support subscriber and advertiser growth.
- Sales-related skills to support digital ad inventory promotion, client discussions, and revenue objectives.
- Experience with online advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) and basic knowledge of web analytics tools is required.
- Knowledge of Wordpress is required.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines is important.
