Job Description
Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Governance: Develop and maintain the brand's strategic framework, including positioning, architecture, voice, and visual identity guidelines. Establish and lead a brand governance process to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Consumer Insights & Analytics: Serve as the internal expert on our target consumer. Champion consumer research and leverage data analytics to uncover actionable insights that inform brand strategy, product innovation, and marketing communications.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with and influence leaders across Marketing, Merchandising, Product Development, and E-commerce to ensure brand strategies are effectively integrated and executed.
- Coaching & Development: Build and lead a small, high-performing team of brand marketers. Foster a culture of strategic thinking, consumer obsession, and collaboration.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of progressive experience in brand management or brand marketing and 3 years of people management experience.
- Proven experience in a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or omni-channel retail environment where brand is a key driver of the business.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing brand architecture, positioning, and identity systems for a major consumer brand.
- Experience leading consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) and translating insights into effective brand strategies.
