The MCORE Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, research and prevention of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in our youth, regardless of their ability to pay. Our mission is to provide all families with the facts about sudden cardiac arrest, relevant family history, and what causes SCA to occur in younger populations. SCA continues to be the #1 Killer of Student Athletes.Education and Prevention Saves LivesWe provide mobile cardiac screenings and CPR Training for youth ages 12-22. Preventative heart screenings are the best chance to detect cardiac risk – before it's too late. The MCORE Foundation screenings provide EKG and Echo testing. All screenings are all preformed by registered diagnostic cardiac sonographers from accredited institutions and local hospitals and read by pediatric cardiologists. Over the past 5 years, the MCORE Foundation has grown considerably. Since 2014 our services have expanded, and we now are providing screenings annually to over 5000 youth ages 12-22 in 7 states. Our programs continue to expand and currently include the following: hospital programs, partner foundation programs, school (middle school, high school and college) screenings & training. The MCORE Foundation is a dedicated 501(c)3 organization that works with local communities in all these signature areas to raise awareness and funding for our screening, research and education programs.
