The Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex is a 28-acre sports village located between 17th & 23rd Streets along Manhattan’s Hudson River. Opened in 1995, Chelsea Piers transformed four historic, long-neglected piers into a major center for public recreation and waterfront access. Chelsea Piers Fitness features one of the country's most challenging rock walls, a 75-foot pool, Hudson River sundecks, dedicated studios for yoga, barre, Pilates and cycle programs, and 150+ group fitness classes a week. Chelsea Piers also features two indoor ice rinks, a 40-lane bowling center operated by Bowlmor, along with gymnastics, soccer, and basketball facilities for youths and adults.
